Rental Counseling PROGRAM

The Rental Counseling Program helps keep household in stable situations when facing evictions, loss of utilities, and other housing emergencies caused by loss of income, increase in expenses, or both.

Services offered by the program:

  • Assist families in identifying rent relief programs among their county
  • Help families complete and submit rental assistance application
  • Complete financial budget
  • Develop an action plan
  • Provide referal and available resources

Step:2 If adviced by the counselor, please email the following documents to doc@mycaf.org for our counselors to be able provide an assessment of your individual situation:
     1-  Rental lease
     2-  ID
     3-  Pay stubs for the last 30 days, or any other income support document (food stamps, Social Sec., Child support, etc.)
     4-  Rent ledger ( if behind on rent payments)

An appointment will be schedule once intake and documents have been received.
